Kat closed her eyes and listened to the soft sounds of the park around her. A day off was rare for her, so she planned on making the most of it. She could hear children off playing in the distance, and could see picnic blankets set up as well. Settling herself on a bench, she looked around, basking in the sunlight. She felt accomplished as well, having successfully managed to give her two body guards the day off.

Kain - *walks up behind her and rests arms on the back of the bench* *In a dark green t-shirt and jean shorts* *has bomber shades on and looks out towrds the horizon* *Takes the ipod earbuds out from his ears and she can head AC/DC blaring* .... so, What brings you out here on this fantastic day? Looking lovely this afternoon by the way.

Hearing someone behind her Kat jumped, nearly stumbling off of the bench she was sitting on. "Good god, did the FBI teach you how to scare the crap out of people?" She inquired, resting one hand on her chest as she looked up at Kain. "Thank you, this would be the civies." She chuckled, looking down at her simple outfit. She wore a pale pink tank top, and blue denim capris with flip flops on her feet. "I'm just enjoying the great outdoors on one of the few days off I've been blessed with. Yourself?"

Kain - *coughs* ...well, ...that's a talent I picked up on my own. *pauses* I'm here to relieve some stress. *thinks for a moment* How about we go for a walk?

"An FBI agent? Stressed?"Kat teased, looking him over with a smile. "A walk sounds wonderful." She nodded moving around to stand next to him. "You seem to have a knack of finding me." She chuckled, her eyes bright with amusement. "You're as good as my goon squad that usually follows me around." She stopped, realizing what she had just said. Great, she thought to herself, compare the first decent guy you've met to your goon squad.

Kain - *laughs* Heh, you have quite a sense of humor. *gives a warm smile* You're not hard to find, seeing how pretty you are. *scratches head and thinks to himself: Great...She think I'm stalking her...* Errm.... *Begins walking* *is quiet for a moment or two* how often do you go to the park here?

"Such a flatterer. The ladies must love you." Kat smiled, pushing a strand of hair out of her face. She couldn't help but blush, her cheeks turning red. It had been such a long time since she had someone compliment her like that. "I come here whenever I can find time from work. I find it quite relaxing here." She shrugged. "Which is very hard to find time, given my job. How about yourself?" She inquired. "I think it's odd that we've never seen each other before. I always remember a handsome face."

Kain - *walking aloong the path and there is a split going left or right* *grabs your hand* ....Let's go right, it's the part I always take. Leads to the lake. *Smiles* The ladies? Heh-heh, "must"? Well, it's gotten me no where. fast. *sees her blush* I come here to cool my jets. I always make time no matter what. Otherwise I'd go insane. Tell me about it, I thought we'd run into each other sooner. *blushes himself* A handsome face?

Feeling his hand slip into hers, Kat smiled brighter. She let herself be led down towards the lake, glad to just have someone to talk to and relax with. As much as she enjoyed relaxing on her own, it was always nice to have someone to talk to. "I find that very hard to believe that a gentleman such as yourself would have a hard time with the ladies." She said, looking around at the lake in front of her. "Yes, I think you're quite handsome."

Kain - *watches some ducks land in the lake**a few of them quack and the others rustle thier feathers and begin to swim around* *a child walks up to the ducks and tosses some bread crumbs so they ave something to feed on* Easier said then done. *smiles and looks at her* Aww, I bet you say that to all the guys, huh? *with his one hand free he scratches he head, chuckling*

Kat watched the child feeding the ducks, a smile permanently on her face. "I only say it when I mean it, and I mean it with you Kain." She admitted, looking up at him. "I think you're a really sweet man." She added, squeezing his hand gently.

Kain - *turns a light red when she says that* *strokes his thumb over her hand* *looks at her and moves slightly closer to her* *The sunlight reflects off the lake and a gentle breeze flows around the two of us* *the ducks swim around and do whatever it is ducks do* * The child runs off and heads toward the playground* *runs my hand up your arm* so you don't mind this FBI agent?

Kat relished the peace and quiet, something she didn't get often given her line of work. Closing her eyes she let the cool breeze mess up her hair, as she basked in the sunlight. "No, I don't mind this FBI agent." She smiled, opening her eyes again and looking at him. A light shiver ran through her as he rubbed her arm. "Definitely a beautiful day today."

Kat was taken by surprise when he leaned in and kissed her. She had to admit that it was a bold gesture, but she didn't mind it at all. Giving him a quick kiss back, she pulled back and blushed. "Do you always kiss on the first date?" She inquired softly, wondering what made him kiss her.
