Kai sighed as she put the rest of her clothes on, considering that once you working out at the gym, you are going to smell bad and sweaty, that you are going to have to shower off. Kai dried her hair and combed her hair. Kai then put on her clothes and started making her way to the gym area she then sat on a bench in the gym area. Kai then closed her eyes and started to just listened to the people around her, when she heared her name, from one agent, who was talking to another agent.
“I swear, Kai Armstrong has McGee’s eyes, I have a feeling that Kai was adoped and she was never told of it. Look at her, what does not scream out Kai is McGee’s kid!”
The other agent sighed and then said, as he stared at the other agent that was talking to him.
“Paul, you really need to stopped talking about people, Just because she has McGee’s eyes, doesn’t mean she is his child.”
The other agent glared, and then said.
“One of these days we will find out and when we do, I’m going to say I told you so.”
Kai opened her eyes, and blinked them for a few seconds. Could she have been adopted and was nevered told, and what if McGee was her father and if so, what happened her mother? Kai moved her leg over her other leg and then placing her arm on her leg, and then she ran her other hand through her hair. She always had some faint memories of a woman with the same colored hair, eyes were light blue, and she was very young by the way she looked from her fainted, yet blurrly memory of woman smiling at her. But did that have anything to do with her being adopted. Kai tilted her head as she hear someone walk up to her and she looked up and saw her boss, Tony DiNozzo. Kai then said.
“Hello Boss.”

Why now he wondered. His gym shorts were no where to be found. He knew he had put them in his desk. He looked everywhere for them. Where the hell were they. Finally he found them. Somewhere he didn't put them. Great just great. Tony went to the bathroom to change. He heard some agents talk. Kai Armstrong, McGees daughter really. Really. How dumb could they be? McGee sleep with someone. Not really.
McGee having sex at that young of an age was impossible to think about. He didn't know McGeek then but hey Tony just couldn't picture it. He smiled as two ladies past him. He turned and watched them leave. nice very very nice
[/color] he thought. So he headed to the gym. Walking in he did a few excersices to get warmed up. He had no idea exactly what he was going to do but he knew he wanted to get some excercise. Like he didn't get that on his job. He chuckled at the thought. That was when he saw Kai Armstrong. Newest addition to his team. The probie. A name they use to have for McGee. Smiling he walked over to her. When she noticed him he nodded and said Hello Kai. He waved at her and walked over to the boxing arena. Come here Armstrong he said getting into the arena and putting on boxing gloves and a helmet. He stood there waiting for her. Kai heard her boss call her over and then she said.
“Coming Boss!”
Kai then watched as her boss as he walked to the boxing arena and then she sighed, and said.
“Let me get back into my work out clothes, and I’ll get into the boxing arena with you.”
Kai then went into the lockerroom and put on her work out clothes… Again.. Then she walked out wearing her gray tank top with black sweatpants and a white zip up hoodie. Kai walked over to the boxing arena and took off her zip up hoodie and then wrapped it around her waist. It is then you noticed that she had two bullet scars in her right arm. Kai then looked around her to make she that no one was staring at her oddly. Once she was done looking around she put on her boxing gloves and helmet.
Kai then climbed into the boxing arena, and looked up to see everyone stareing at her. Kai then narrowed her eyes into a glare and then said.
“What, havn’t seen a woman in a boxing arena before, or is it the fact that some people think I’m McGee’s daughter and will not shut up about it? Well, stop thinking I’m McGee’s daughter, Because I’m NOT his daughter, so stop with the staring, it’s rude.”
Kai watched as everyone went back to what they were doing and then she turned to her boss and then said.
“Sorry about that Boss, I really do not like being stared at, it makes me feels weird. That and I was tried of hearing that I look like McGee and somethings like McGee.”
Kai then blinked and then waited on what next to do, she had not a clue what her boss was planning, but she knew it had something to do with boxing.

Tony smiled at the young red head. He heard coming boss and let me just put my gym clothes back on. Tony sighed as he stood there waiting. He sighed as he waited for her. He took a few quick punching jabs to get warm up. He wanted to see if Kai could fight. If there was anything Tony learned from the past it was that you had to be ready for anything. Tony and his team had learned that very well. Him, McGee, and Ziva all had face some crazy nuts in the past.
He smiled when Kai came back. He was ready to see what she could do. Suddenly she was yelling at some other agents. He smiled and shruged it off. Do not worry about it Kai. You are right staring is not very polite he said loudly and looked at the agents. He chuckled as he watched them leave. He looked back at her and that was when he noticed them. The scars. How could he have missed them before. He took his gloves off and walked over to her. His mind raced he took her arm so he could see the scars better. He traced them with his finger. Kai what happended to you he asked.
He looked at them more closely. They looked like bullet wounds. There had been little background information on Kai. Gibbs hired her and put her with his team. Tony was told not to ask questions. So that was what he did. No questions asked. This was Gibbs after all that we were talking about. Now Tony wondered what the old man wasn't telling him.

Kai smiled DiNozzo said it was okay and he also said it was not polite to stare. Kai also watched as the other agents walked away. Kai went into memory, when she felt something grab her arm, she acted on what she learned, but with she realized it was only her boss grabbing her arm, she stopped herself and she heard what he asked and then Kai looked for a place to sit down on the boxing arena. She then found a spot to sit down and sat down in one of the corners of the boxing arena. She then sighed and then said.
“I was wondering when someone was going to ask me, about the scars on my arm. When I started college, I was only 15, somone I knew from high school went to the same college as I did. He was a few years older then me, He goes by the name of Addae Xenos, he didn’t have a easy life….”
Kai turned her head slighly, causing her hair to fall into her face as she kept on talking. Kai then said.
“Addae snapped one day, and came into my MIT class that me and him share together, and he pulled out a gun, then he started shooting everyone. He shooted me in my arm, twice, when I was trying to save a life, but sadly that preson didn’t make it. He killed everyone, but not me, my two friends, and the teacher. I tried talking to him, but when you looked into his eyes, there was no life, no light, no hope, nothing. The last thing I remember before passing out, I asked him why he was doing this, and he answered, payback and end everyone’s suffering. The next thing I know, is I’m laying in a hospital bed, staring at the ceiling. I was then later told, that no one made it, apart from me, my two friends, and my teacher, were alive but wounded. No one live was never the same after that….”
Kai then brought her head back up and then looked at her boss, and then she said.
“There was so much blood, it was everywhere, it was on me, and everyone was covered in blood.”
Kai closed her eyes, and then said.
“And two years later, my parents were killed in a car crash, car burned to the down. Ever since then, nothing in my family was never same.”

Tony had listened to every word that cam from her mouth. He just stared at her awaiting patiently when she would be done. Fifteen and at MIT . Sounds like he has another McGee on their hands. Which was cool to Tony. He liked McGeek. He smiled at the thought. McGee did come in handy. Tony hated to do anything that came with computers really except chat and surf the web finding videos. He grinned. He was thinking and listenting to Kai.
Then she got to the shooting and the frown faded.This took Tony back to when him Ziva McGee and Gibbs were working that kid from the highschool. He had a bomb strapped to him and was ready to blow him and his hostages away. Thankfully Gibbs calmed him down. He continued waiting patiently for her to be done.
When she did finished he sighed. He looked down for a couple minutes to get his thoughts in order. This was crucial. He couldn't mess this up. The his head shot straight up looking at her when she mentioned her parents were killed in a car accident. Kai I am so sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up he said sighing. He figured she didn't want to talk about it at all.
He carefully thought for a minute. He didn't want to sound rude but he had to ask. Kai did they ever catch Addee after the shooting he asked looking her straight in the face. He wanted an answer but if it was too painful for her he would understand.

Kai blinked as she listened to her boss speak, Kai then slowly started to stand up and she then crossed her arms and put her leg up against the rope of the boxing arena. Kai then tilted her head to the side as she closed her eyes and then said.
“It’s okay, no one can change the past, and another thing, asking questions can be sometimes be good. If you have anymore questions about me, just ask.”
Kai started to let the memories push through her mind, the happy memories and bad memories. Kai then snapped her eyes open as she hear her boss ask another question. Kai sighed and then said.
“No, they have not caught him yet, he has been spotted in couple of states, but never caught, he always gets away.”
Kai’s mind wandered back to the case file that was on her boss’s desk. Kai sighed and then looked up at her boss in wonder and then she said.
“Have you every heard of the name, Angel Kai Jones? I s-saw the cold case file on your desk a few hours ago, Does she remind you of someone?”
Kai knew that she going to be yelled at for taking note of the case file on his desk, she knew it was rude, bit she wanted to knew. The girl looked like someone she remember to where it only lefted faint memories of the girl. Kai raised an eyebrow at her boss as she tilted her head and then said.
“Well?”

Yeah he knows he could ask some obnoxious questions sometimes but that was because he was just curious. He didn’t stare at people just because he thought they looked like someone and may be their child. That was just insane in his mind. He sighed and rubbed his arm for a bit. Yeah okay Kai…you sure your okay though. I mean in your head. I know that if that happened to me and I knew he wasn’t caught and walking around maybe doing that to other people my head wouldn’t be okay he asked wanting to make sure her head was clear so she wasn’t a problem in the field. He didn’t want anyone to get hurt.
He had been turning around when he suddenly stopped. What was she doing looking at his desk? He was looking at an old cold case for a friend of his. That is…not our case so don’t worry about it…It’s a cold case and a friend of mine was reopening the case and wanted me to look at it [/b] he said. He leaned against the ropes looking at her. Her middle name is the same as yours but I don’t think she reminds me of anyone not really. Is she a relative of yours he asked. He took off the gloves and moved out of the ring. Let’s move over here since we are talking. Let someone else have the ring right now while we talk okay he said was he moved to the bleachers at the far end and sat down waiting for her.[/blockquote] ------------------------[/center] |

Kai listened to her boss, as he speak. Kai blinked, Kai nodded and then said.
“My head is fine, boss, you make it sound like I need to go to a place for crazy people, the word for that…. Ah! A Mental Asylum!”
Kai frowned when he mentioned other people, she worried they the people she knew and cared about were in danger of Addae being after her. Kai sighed, then she heard her boss speak again, this time about the cold case. Kai blinked, and then said.
"Uh... Yea, I think I have seen her before, I just do not know from where, the memory is kinda blurry though.. I guess I was just wondering about. By the way, which friend is the one reopening the case?"
Kai started to think maybe she was adopted, and didn't know she was. Kai's face turned into a frown just thinking about it. Kai turned her head to look at a wall, Kai blinked her eyes and then rubbed them as someone walked through an agent. Kai month opened and then she heard her boss talking about moving to from the ring and walked over to the bleachers, she followed her boss to the far corner of the end of bleachers. Kai then looked at her boss and then said.
"Do you know if she had any kids? Did she have an 'x' boyfirend? I can help you if you want."
Kai waited for an answer from her boss, when she heard someone call her name, Kai then turned her head to the area that she heard her name being called from, but saw nothing. Kai blinked and then turned her head back her boss and then said.
"Did you hear someone call my name.. I know I hear someone call my name... Weird, very weird..."
Kai then looked back from where she heard her name called and then looked back at her boss and waited for his answer from her questions.
